Enjoy music wirelessly at home:

Two Bluetooth innovations from the IFA!

  • Cabstone™ expands its product range with two new audio receivers
  • the focus is on uncomplicated music enjoyment from smart phone or tablet in the living room, on the balcony, or on the terrace
  • introduction of a new streamer for classic stereo systems
  • new variant developed especially for "old" Apple sound docks
  • both variants available for retailers starting in October

Braunschweig, August 27, 2013 – The market for smart phones and tablets is still booming worldwide. More and more people are now browsing through and organizing music only digitally. Mobile devices such as iPad and iPhone or the models of the Samsung Galaxy series are thus attaining an ever more central importance in the daily entertainment program at home. The new Bluetooth audio receivers from Cabstone™ are now moving music out of your pants pocket and into your home loudspeakers in an uncomplicated manner.

Streaming to HiFi and loudspeaker systems
The first-class sound of a HiFi system can be used in full quality with the new Bluetooth HiFiStreamer. The new Cabstone™ gadget adds the capability for wireless music reception to any popular HiFi or loudspeaker system in the living room. The little device can be hooked up to the system simply via a 3.5 mm or stereo RCA cable and, thanks to NFC and auto-pairing support, can be connected to a tablet or smart phone. Afterwards, like using a remote control, music choices can be selected from a distance of up to 10 meters, volume can be controlled, and the sound of your own stereo system can be enjoyed more easily than ever before.

New life for "old" docking stations
Since the introduction of the new Apple connection type "Lightning", users of the previously used docking station with the "old" 30-pin connector have had a problem. Since then, the iPhones, iPads, and iPods of the latest generation have no longer fit on the old device dock.

With the new Cabstone™ DockingStreamer, both can now be combined. The little Bluetooth streamer breathes new life into analog docking stations, because it can be inserted into the 30-pin dock connector in place of an iPhone or iPod. The compact dimensions of the audio receiver ensure that it fits into the recess of any popular docking station without any problem. Via Bluetooth 3.0, and thanks to auto-pairing support, any new iPhone, iPad, or iPod, and any other Bluetooth-ready device, can be connected to the docking streamer in a snap.

The DockingStreamer Bluetooth and the HiFiStreamer Bluetooth are being presented to the public for the first time at the IFA 2013 in Berlin. They will be available for retailers starting in mid-October.
