Braunschweig, 03.03.2016 – USB has been established as the standard interface for PC Hardware and consumer electronics for a long while. Almost every peripheral device has a connection that is available in many different varieties. The latest advancement is the USB-C™ type which has been used by Apple in their newest Macbook for the first time and is setting new standards for data transfers. Cabstone now expanded their successful metal connector series with these new USB-C™ connectors.

The product range offers different connections to sync and charge as well as adapters. That way, devices with a regular USB connection can easily be connected to tablets, smartphones etc. with the new standard. All cables are equipped with a textile sheath which makes them tangle-free and sturdy. The new USB-C connector can be plugged in double sided and is manufactured from solid metal. It allows a transfer of 100 Watts for quicker charging in connection with the USB 3.1 technology. Furthermore it makes a data transmission of up to 10 Gbit/s (2nd generation) possible which is twice as much the USB 3.0™ technology.

Besides the USB-C™ versions, Cabstone offers its sync and charging cables of the metal connector series in new, practical lengths between 0,3m and 3m. That way everybody finds their right distance to the socket, no matter if it’s on the couch or in the car.
